A specific partitioning interface for the graphical installer is in everyone's mind for a while now. The first step was to work on the GTK+ frontend for cdebconf to make the creation of plugins easier and this is mostly done now. Given the short time before the release of Lenny, we have decided to improve the current interface (by providing properly aligned columns instead of misrendered whitespaces) instead of working on a specific partitioner interface.
