The state of affairs is as follows: there is a new upstream version of avscan that supposedly fixes the clamav issue. The downside is that at the same time a new version of libendeavour2-2 is needed (struct CfgItem). Upstream has one again reshuffled the whole source of both packages, and upgrading the soname magic to the new version is painful. I'll orphan the packages now (they had been on RFA anyway). Unless someone comes up with the necessary patches, it is probably best to remove endeavour2 and avscan from the archive before the lenny release.
