Package: coreutils
Version: 6.10-6
Severity: important
File: /usr/bin/csplit

a

b

c

d
_eof

% ls
xx00
% cat xx00

c

% rm xx00
% echo 'a1b1c1d' | csplit - '/1/' '{*}'

% ls
xx00  xx01
% head *
==> xx00 <==

==> xx01 <==
