Package: zsh Version: 4.3.6-2 Severity: normal I started vlc from the zsh command line. Some time later, I decided to kill vlc with Ctrl-C. As I didn't get the prompt, I tried Ctrl-C a few more times, with no change. I can see that vlc is now a zombie:
