I'm on Ultra5 hardware. The machine started to be unresponsive, and login via ssh was impossible. I have a lot of these in my kern.log: May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: tsk->{mm,active_mm}->context = 00000000000007c0 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: tsk->{mm,active_mm}->pgd = fffff800159cb000 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: \|/ ____ \|/ May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: "@'/ .. \`@" May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: /_| \__/ |_\ May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: \__U_/ May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: eggdrop(979): Oops May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: TSTATE: 0000000011009601 TPC: 000000000201536c TNPC: 0000000002015370 Y: 00000000 Not tainted May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: g0: 0000000000000508 g1: 0000000000000001 g2: bebebebebebebebc g3: bebebebebebebeb6 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: g4: fffff80000000000 g5: 0000000000000001 g6: fffff80014c2c000 g7: 0000000000000000 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: o0: 0000000000000000 o1: fffff80004f61380 o2: 0000000000000000 o3: bebebebebebebebe May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: o4: 0000000000000080 o5: 0000000000000001 sp: fffff80014c2eb41 ret_pc: 0000000002001170 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: l0: fffff800004b9970 l1: fffff80004f61380 l2: 0000000000008005 l3: 0000000000000021 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: l4: 0000000000000000 l5: 00000000aaaaaaab l6: aaaaaaaa00000000 l7: 00000000006c5c00 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: i0: fffff80012225080 i1: fffff80014c2f580 i2: fffff80014c2f480 i3: 0000000000008486 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: i4: 0000000000000003 i5: fffff800134f48b0 i6: fffff80014c2ec01 i7: 00000000020167f8 May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[00000000020167f8] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[0000000002018ba0] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[0000000002012604] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[0000000000486a0c] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[00000000004837b4] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[000000000046e608] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[000000000046d1ac] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[000000000044ca4c] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[000000000044d220] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[0000000000453024] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[00000000004362a4] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[000000000042356c] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[000000000040f06c] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Caller[00000000702f88ec] May 25 15:21:25 localhost kernel: Instruction DUMP: 80894001 02480006 d05e2110 <c2422310> 80a2c001 0a680015 13008084 ca5a21d8 0300003f This repeats at 10-20 minutes intervals.
