I'd like to add some more information concerning my problem with
/usr/bin/join .
A tarball containing data, causing trouble:
* http://grail08.elte.hu/~steger/bug/T.tgz
The unexpected output of joint T1.dat T2.dat :
* http://grail08.elte.hu/~steger/bug/result.dat
A very inefficient workaround to gain the results that are expected:
* http://grail08.elte.hu/~steger/bug/hack.sh
Zipped data I expected to have:
* http://grail08.elte.hu/~steger/bug/expected.dat.gz
Hopefully this additional information helps finding the root of the
problem. Thank you for your help in advance.
