I don't remember why I didn't followup on this earlier, anyway it looks like my main concern was 'wajig purge' for deinstalled packages, which was changed to use 'dpkg --purge' in #362632 (wajig 2.0.32). So you can close this bug if you wish. Thanks, Karl
