From the mail exchanges we had, it seems pretty clear that Marcin's original intent was to send his PO files as UTF-8 files.
The "corrected" files I sent were encoded in ISO-8859-2, which is perfectly valid but defeats the original intent. So, maintainers, I suggest you optionnally reencode the file in UTF-8 with: msgconv -t utf-8 debian/po/pl.po >debian/po/pl2.po mv debian/po/pl2.po debian/po/pl.po (msgconv is slightly better that raw iconv as it uses the PO file's header to determine the originating encoding)
