Whenever I try to run skype with 2.3 installed, I get this error: "skype: error while loading shared libraries: libQtDBus.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
I originally reported this as a libqt4-dbus error, and one of their people showed me this and this reassign it to ia32-libs-gtk: $ ldd skype |grep "not found" libQtDBus.so.4 => not found libQtNetwork.so.4 => not found $ apt-file search libQtDBus.so.4 ia32-libs-gtk: /emul/ia32-linux/usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4 ia32-libs-gtk: /emul/ia32-linux/usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4.3 ia32-libs-gtk: /emul/ia32-linux/usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4.3.4 libqt4-dbg: /usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4.4.0.debug libqt4-dbus: /usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4 libqt4-dbus: /usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4.4 libqt4-dbus: /usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4.4.0 $ file skype skype: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.4.1, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped skype is a 32bits application and it uses ia32-libs under amd64 architecture.
