Package: meld Version: 1.1.5.1-2 Severity: important
I don't know if it's just to me, but meld is completely unusable at the moment. It locks up on startup either not showing anything at all (with no files to compare) or after drawing the background of the window but no forground (no menus/windows/scrollbars, etc). strace shows that it is locked up waiting on stdin (file descriptor 0) and it starts responding when input is given on the command line filling in the input buffer, but waits for input on everything it's trying to do (drawing any character or anything else for that matter) making it unusable. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25.3 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages meld depends on: ii python 2.5.2-1 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-glade2 2.12.1-3 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gnome2 2.22.0-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gtk2 2.12.1-3 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-support 0.8.1 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages meld recommends: ii python-gnome2-desktop 2.22.0-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii yelp 2.22.1-1 Help browser for GNOME 2 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
