Package: meld
Version: 1.1.5.1-2
Severity: important

I don't know if it's just to me, but meld is completely unusable at the
moment.
It locks up on startup either not showing anything at all (with no files
to compare) or after drawing the background of the window but no
forground (no menus/windows/scrollbars, etc).

strace shows that it is locked up waiting on stdin (file descriptor 0)
and it starts responding when input is given on the command line filling
in the input buffer, but waits for input on everything it's trying to
do (drawing any character or anything else for that matter) making it unusable.
