The process has to be killed, at which point the only error message is: Terminated $ meld does the same I can only load meld from the menu, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense because it is the same command. I've tried on two Debian boxes (both amd64). Loading the files within the GUI works but is a lot more hassle than simply passing arguments on the command line (and is difficult to script/automate). -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages meld depends on: ii python 2.5.2-1 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-glade2 2.12.1-2 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gnome2 2.22.0-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gtk2 2.12.1-2 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-support 0.8.1 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages meld recommends: ii python-gnome2-desktop 2.22.0-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii yelp 2.22.1-1 Help browser for GNOME 2 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
