Package: lirc-modules-source Version: 0.8.2-2 Severity: important
There's a new Lirc upstream release 0.8.3 available and the new release includes support for the 2.6.25 kernel which has been the default kernel for a while in sid. Please consider updating package, the current version doesn't work at all with 2.6.25 (at least for me). I'm using lirc_serial module and loading the module to a 2.6.25 kernel causes kernel to oops.
