Please provide a reasoning for your report.
I prefer the menu backup file to be left in /boot/grub, for the simple
reason that its not a typical backup, but will be restored upon resume.
The name "backup" actually is a bad choice in my opinion. It's not. It's
the original version, so maybe the
name /boot/grub/menu.lst.hibernate-orig would be better.

Also, /boot/grub needs to be writable for the whole thing to work;
while /var/backup does not need to (at this point in time). So its less
likely to
