I left it in the background some time ago, before aspell-0.60 Debian
packages were uploaded, because I wanted to make sure that it worked with
aspell-0.60. But once it was uploaded I was busy with other things, so did
not work further on this. Sarge freeze for standard packages was an
aditional reason for this (dictionaries-common is standard).

However I (vaguely) remember it was in a resonable state for passing to
wider testing and discuss details with you. It is currently in a
dictionaries-common branch (aspell-autobuildhash) which is rather outdated
wrt MAIN.

Since my experience with aspell-0.60 and affix compression is possitive, I
think that code should also work for it, so I expect everything can be
arranged without much problem.

I did put some experimental stuff at

http://dict-common.alioth.debian.org/aspell-autobuildhash/

but I do not remember exactly its status, and I think was not tested for
aspell-0.60. I am now syncing the aspell-autobuildhash branch to MAIN and
will build new packages hopefully soon.

Cheers,
