Package: burn Version: 0.4.3-2.1 Followup-For: Bug #419338
It seems that unless the following line is present in .burnrc, both under the "Writer" and "reader" sections, that various parts of burn break without any indication as to why: > device = /dev/hdc burn-configure automatically gives the device name in the form N,N,N. This doesn't seem to work, nor does using '/dev/cdrom' and '/dev/cdrw' if they both point to the same device. Can this be fixed by default please, or a note placed in the Readme.Debian? This is seriously broken behaviour. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages burn depends on: ii cdrdao 1:1.2.2-7 records CDs in Disk-At-Once (DAO) ii cdrecord 9:1.1.7.1-1 Dummy transition package for wodim ii mkisofs 9:1.1.7.1-1 Dummy transition package for genis ii mpg321 0.2.10.4 mpg123 clone that doesn't use floa ii python 2.4.4-6 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-eyed3 0.6.14-1 Python module for id3-tags manipul ii python-pyao 0.82-2 A Python interface to the Audio Ou ii python-pymad 0.5.4-3.2+b1 Python wrapper to the MPEG Audio D ii python-pyvorbis 1.3-2 A Python interface to the Ogg Vorb burn recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
