>From all one sees, it looks like we successfully set the title:
$ eyeD3 --no-color -t 'Once Upon A Time In The Projects' file
Setting title: Once Upon A Time In The Projects
Writing tag...
ID3 v1.1:
title: Once Upon A Time In The Projects artist: ...
$ eyeD3 --no-color file
ID3 v1.1:
title: Once Upon A Time In The Projec artist: ...
^^the truth is revealed.
The line has been trimmed according to standards. Nothing wrong with
that. What is wrong is it is not revealed on the first run above. It
took a second run to show us.
Please show reality on the first run, and perhaps add a warning.

Also if there are no archives for your mailing list, consider
subscribing gmane.org to it...
Also about needing --no-color all the time: please use terminfo to see
if the device where your are sending those escape sequences can use
them! See how ls(1) handles color.
