Package: mozilla-tabextensions Version: 1.14.2005051901-1 Severity: normal (I previously reported this as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=294622, but it has now been narrowed down to the mozilla-tabextensions package, so filing here)
If "periodically check for updates to my extensions and themes" is unchecked in the Advanced preferences, then the Update button on the Extensions window is disabled as well. Just because I've disabled auto-updating, doesn't mean I don't want to be able to do manual updates. Addendum to results at time of mozilla filing: I uninstalled the mozilla-gnome-support and mozilla-tabextensions packages, and tried this with a clean profile. Everything worked fine. I installed mozilla-gnome-support, and tried again. No problems there. I installed mozilla-tabextensions and it broke. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to Preferences, Advanced, uncheck "my extensions and themes" under "periodically check for updates" subsection 2. Goto extensions manager. Note disabled update button 3. Go back to advanced preferences, enable "my extensions and themes" this time 4. Return to extensions manager, note enabled update button.
