This tells me that the alternative on xpdf-utils in Depends ought to be dropped, even though xpdf-utils and poppler-utils should in principle be the same codebase. In practice, Poppler is maintained more actively, while XPDF is slowly deprecating. Kenshi? Martin? Till? Does this make sense to you?
