Package: cryptsetup Version: 2:1.0.6-1 Severity: normal libcryptsetup and its header file are no longer included in cryptsetup, but another package for development is not available.
This library used to be there (both .a and .so), so developing a project with cryptsetup support is no longer possible. Thus, I suggest that either libcryptsetup and the header file are put back into the cryptsetup package, or a separate package, say libcryptsetup-dev, is provided that includes these files.
