Please note that Ubuntu has a patch for this for quite a while: http://patches.ubuntu.com/c/cyrus-imapd-2.2/extracted/99-berkelydb-4.6.dpatch It really gets time to drop ancient db4 versions in Debian, so please consider applying this. See http://patches.ubuntu.com/c/cyrus-imapd-2.2/cyrus-imapd-2.2_2.2.13-13ubuntu3.patch for the complete Ubuntu debdiff which includes teh Build-Depends changes (libdb4.2-dev -> libdb4.6-dev) (99-updateautoconf needs to be regenerated as well).
