So I assume, you cannot reproduce the problem either and I'll > close the report. Please remain honest when closing bugs. There has been *no* request to reproduce. You probably refer to #12 in the bug log? Besides being the first reaction after almost 4 years it was *not* CC: to me (the BTS does not send mails automatically to the submitter), so I was not informed nor asked. I am usually rather responsive *if* I'm asked, and I gladly provide more input if possible, but for it to help, you should care about it in a more timely (and bug reporter friendly) fashion. Btw., the proper way would have been to tag this bug "unreproducible" if you cannot reproduce it (I assume you tried?). > Please feel free to comment on this decision or reopen your report if > necessary. I just checked on my Etch/amd64 box and the bug is not reproducible, but I don't have an alpha anymore where I could check. But since I don't care much for pymol (at that time I was asked by Andreas Tille to try science related programms on alpha an report, something which you seem to be not interested in) and I cannot reproduce the bug on amd64 I won't reopen this bug.
