This is the Informix client I have installed: $ ./esql -V IBM Informix CSDK Version 2.81, IBM Informix-ESQL Version 9.53.UC2 Software Serial Number RDS#N000000 I think I did the tarball install. clientsdk.2.81.UC2.LINUX.tar I haven't tried to build a package. I'm not even sure how to do it... If you're getting compiler errors, perhaps Jonathan Leffler could help.
