Hi! Could you please consider this bug for lenny? In my opinion, the default is especially relevant because when a user installs their system with the standard Debian Installer, they won't get the question because this runs everything at priority=high.
I would say that it's better to err on the side of caution for those that haven't even seen the question and choose loopback for them. Currently, a freshly installed lenny system has two ports open to the outside, one of which is portmap. It would in my opinion be great if a standard Debian system would default to having zero ports open and the administrator knowingly add those ports which he knows he needs. thanks! Thijs
