The debconf note you added is displayed at high prioriy and therefore
interrupts all installations of the package.

That is generally regarded as debconf abuse. Such important notification to
users pertain either to NEWS.Debian or README.Debian files and should not
interrupt installations.

I will still call the French translators to work on the translation of that
note in case you disagree about the note being abuse, though.
