Hi, > Hmm... do we gain anything ?
Qt 4.4.0 will be released tomorrow and we upload KDE 4 packages every weeks to experimental. We received some request for Qt/KDE packages ported to Qt4/KDE4. Early users of KDE 4 try to reduce Qt3 applications used. They want to have a full Qt4 based desktop (this is my case too). > Does kchmviewer4 also support KDE ? or is it just pure Qt4 ? This is pure Qt4 atm. > I haven't packaged it yet, given that it is a beta. Besides not being > stable, it normally complicates versioning. > However, if there is indeed demand, I can perfectly well package > 4.0~beta2-1 and be done with it. An upload to experimental is enough and it will make upstream happy: > Everyone is welcomed to test this release. I have received several rants > about the software being buggy.
