Package: libpoppler3
Version: 0.8.0-1
Severity: important

hello,

i would like to transition my system to libpoppler3 since it closes off
a security vulnerability found in libpoppler2. however, removing
libpoppler2 will end up removing a lot of applications such as evince and
texlive. is there anyway that i can force these applications to use
libpoppler3 or do they need to be rebuilt for it? if so is anyone working
to make that happen? do you need help? should a message be sent to each
of the applications requesting that they rebuild against libpoppler3?

thanks.
