Package: diction
Version: 1.02-1
Severity: normal

For example:

% echo "There was a wise old hen." | diction | fmt | nl
1 (stdin):1: [There was -> (a dead phrase; rewrite the sentence and
it will
2 probably improve)] a [wise -> (avoid words that end in -wise)] old
hen.

         3 2 phrases in 1 sentence found.

The advice in line #2 is too inclusive. It would be better if
'diction' left plain old "wise" alone.

Hope this helps...
