thanks for your report and the patch. Unfortunately the current state of PostgreSQL support in mantis is everything else but not settled. So I currently don't support PostgreSQL in my packaging (thats why its dependencies don't allow the alternative use of postgres). That is due to the fact that multi-db support in mantis is dependend on some patches to adodb that are not currently part of the official adodb distribution. Thus as I don't use the code copy of mantis for security reasons I currently have problems with supporting databases different from mysql. Given the situation the issue you mention is one that I will not fix for now. I keep it open, because I will fix it once the situation about the database abstraction in mantis is more settled (which upstream and I are working about).
