Hi, We have received a bug report about xchat-xsys in ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xchat-xsys/+bug/221171 The issue doesn't affect Debian directly but since we need to fix it (the wrong reference is being used for the /etc/lsb-release file) I thought that you may be interested to fix it as well so that we can keep in sync? Note that my fix is pretty trivial and works for Ubuntu (or Debian) but its not in principle the right way to do this. I believe the compliant way with the lsb specification would be to call lsb_release (for instance with a popen call) instead of relying on the presence of the /etc/lsb-release file.
