It don't entirely disagree with Martin, but then I don't entirely disagree with the patch either... conceptually at least. The O_LARGEFILE changes are not needed as the _FILE_OFFSET_BITS change makes them unnecessary. And there is some bad indenting... That fixed patch will appear in my .git shortly.
