Package: php-geshi
Version: 1.0.7.21-1
Severity: important

Short after release of 1.0.7.21 there has been reports about highlighting of
symbol characters
(which was introduced in this version) has a major bug causing additional
characters being inserted
after certain symbols like ; and |.

Have a look at the bug report at
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1923020&group_id=114997&atid=670231
for more details and a note on how to patch this issue.

It would be nice if either the proposed patch (SVN rev 1066, URL above) could
be applied or
the upcoming stable release could be upgraded for testing ASAP (proposed
release mid to end of May).
