I understand chm support is probably not compiled into debian version I went to beagle IRC channel on GIMPnet #dashboard and discussed it there with bheekling and was advised to fill a debian bugreport CHM file indexing is quite valuable for me and possibly others hence the report Many thanks for the great program!
