Package: bitmap-mule
Version: 8.5+0.20030825.0433-8
Severity: normal

In emacs-snapshot¹ (as of 20080416-1), bitmap.el fails to byte-compile:

bitmap.el:53:1:Error: Symbol's function definition is void:
update-coding-systems-internal

There are many warnings as well, see the attached CompilationLog.gz. It
seems your package suffers from bit-rottenness and will not work in a
future emacs23. :-(
