Package: keytouch Version: 2.3.2-2 Severity: normal I have bound "Close" button on my keyboard to plugin "Lock Screen" function "Lock Screen". It used to work, and the keyboard binding still works with other plugins but not with "Lock Screen".
Some diagnostics: 1) I ran the following in the terminal: keytouch-keyboard --restart-keytouch 2) clicked OK in the settings without changing anything 3) hit the "Close" key 4) got the following in the terminal: ERROR: Couldn't attach to DCOP server! sh: kdesktop_lock: not found I am using gnome. I have nothing in common with kde. If I install kdesktop then it launches kde stuff and it launches multiple times if I hit the "Close" key multiple time, then I have to unlock it many times -- I don't know about KDE, but it works really badly in Gnome. Could you please make it current-desktop-sensitive? You can look at xdg-screensaver script from xdg-utils which does the same but is desktop-aware. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (50, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24.2-d630 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=lt_LT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=lt_LT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages keytouch depends on: ii keytouch-data 2.3.2-2 keyboard definition files and docu ii libasound2 1.0.16-2 ALSA library ii libatk1.0-0 1.22.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.1-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome-menu2 2.22.1-1 an implementation of the freedeskt ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.9-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxtst6 2:1.0.3-1 X11 Testing -- Resource extension keytouch recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
