Package: usplash Version: 0.5.8-3 Severity: normal Most of the times (but for some reason, not *all* of the times), when usplash starts displaying in my laptop, it will only get to fill the progress "bar" up untill the "d" letter in "debian". Then it'll abort and go back to text mode boot.
The last message seen when this happens reads: "resume: libgcrypt version: 1.4.0" which I believe is part of the initrd, followed by the normal userland stuff. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ca_AD.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ca_AD.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages usplash depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.20 Debian configuration management sy ii initramfs-tools 0.91e tools for generating an initramfs ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libusplash0 0.5.8-3 userspace bootsplash library ii usplash-theme-debian [usplash 4 Debian usplash theme usplash recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
