Thank you for this and apologies for not getting to it sooner. (Long and not horribly interesting story. There's a new version of XML-Security-C, which will require rebuilds of Shibboleth-SP and OpenSAML, and I was going to do all of them once the backports of the current versions were accepted, and then that took longer than I expected.)
