Excellent that others have done some packages!
Is anyone interested in taking over darcs Debian maintainership?

I take it you are the current darcs maintainer for Debian? Your name
seems to have changed since changelog.Debian.gz.

Yes, slightly :)

If you can't maintain Darcs/Debian integration, the appropriate action
is to file an RFH or ITA bug against the "wnpp" pseudopackage; run
"reportbug wnpp" to do this easily.

I know :) I am feeling around to see if anyone else is interested, not officially ITA'ing it yet.

I'm happy to take over Darcs/Debian integration, but

- I am not a DD, so I can't get my finished packages from
mentors.debian.net to the last step, i.e. into Debian proper
  (incoming).

To get around this, I'll need a DD to upload finished packages.

- I am a darcs *user*, not a *developer*, so while I can read Haskell,
I can't create Debian-specific patches much more complicated than
  the existing sensible-editor patch.

In practice I think this doesn't present a problem; it just means
that most bugs get forwarded to the upstream BTS. This is how I'm
maintaining the "mg" package right now.

If other people are interested in maintaining Debian's darcs
integration, I'm also happy to do co-maintainership (but be warned: I
am a CDBS fan :-)

That all sounds fine. I'll look around to see if there's anyone else interested :)

peace,

  isaac
