Package: manpages-dev
Version: 2.79-2
Severity: normal

The manpage for raise, incorrectly describes it as sending a signal to the
current process;
infact it sends the signal to the calling thread. Therefore the statement that
raise(sig) is
equivalent to kill(getpid(), sig) is false.
