Since then, there have been also other new releases. 1.7.2 is the latest currently: http://people.redhat.com/sgrubb/audit/ A new release would be needed to compile shadow with audit support (new AUDIT_GRP_AUTH audit message type in libaudit.h, added in 1.6.8).
