Hiya Ilija. I use evolution-exchange against the GAL all the time and I've not been able to reproduce these crashes with the latest versions.
Could you please check that you have the newest versions of evolution, evolution-exchange and libexchange-storage1.2-3 installed. Also it would be helpful if you can install evolution-dbg, evolution-data-server-dbg and evolution-exchange-dbg and provide some debug-output from these packages when reproducing the crash.
