You might want to look at the version of the glib build dependency. AFAIK,
gio was only part of glib since the very latest stable release.


I'm being vague here on purpose. I don't want to tell you lies and lead you
on the wrong path. I haven't yet had time to dig much deeper.
On my todo list is looking into how to actually build the patch I posted
into something that does not rely on gnome-vfs. I need to find out what the
story is behind the bonobo and friends still linking to gnomevfs....
I'll keep posting stuff along the way, so that any interested party can
just have a look at the bug numbers backlogs.
(All non-pkg-gnome nautilus extensions packages can be found by
using [EMAIL PROTECTED], usertag=nautilus-ext-2.0)
