I think it'll be a good thing when dash is set as the default /bin/sh ;)

Looks like you've still got a bashism coming via /etc/default/gsm-utils.
e.g.
$ sudo /usr/bin/gsmsmsrequeue
/etc/default/gsm-utils: 13: function: not found

/etc/default/gsm-utils contains 
    function do_accounting { true; }  # it's your turn
which should be rewritten just as /usr/bin/gsmsmsrequeue was.
