Thanks for notifying me about this. But it seems the newly generated
template has many unnecessary broken sentences that makes translation
almost unachievable. For examples the following excerpt:

------------------8<------------------------
#: src/main.cc:161
#, c-format
msgid ""
" why-not - Show the manually installed packages that lead to a "
"conflict\n"
msgstr ""

#: src/main.cc:162
#, c-format
msgid ""
" with the given package, or why one or more packages
#would\n"
msgstr ""

#: src/main.cc:163
#, c-format
#| msgid ""
#| " -V Show which versions of packages are to be installed.\n"
msgid ""
" lead to a conflict with the given package if installed\n"
msgstr ""
-----------------------8<-----------------------

It looks like it should be treated as a whole sentence instead. There
are many other examples like this. If it's unexpected please fix.
Thanks.
