reopen 475738 block 475738 by 475131 thanks Hi,
Funny. I think you are missing important points. I think closing this bug was premature since we did not check facts. (Of course, I did not explain my suituation well...) I am on amd64 system. (As you have seen at the bottom of report.) I have it now by using m-a locally. I have source installed by "Suggests:". That does not make this module provided as per policy. > built by linux-modules-extra-2.6. Thanks for interesting pointer. Hmmmm... I am on amd64 system. I see 475131. This is the root cause problem. Until linux-modules-extra-2.6 is updated, virtualbox-ose-modules-* does not exist in archive thus policy is not met technically. Please note I only marked "Important" for polocy violation since we can compile it from source in the main. Anyway, please keep this bug open as placeholder till 475131 is fixed so people know we need manual compilation and push the kernel team to fix 475131.
