Hi, I had a similar problem when looking at http://linux.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/04/11/0413234 (see screenshot at http://www.student.uni-oldenburg.de/wolf.wiegand/firefox.jpg ). Installing the libcairo2-package provided by Evgeni solved the problem for me as well.
