Package: proj Version: 4.4.9d-2 Severity: normal Hi,
I looked around for the right place to report this but could find one. The problem is that the epsg file in proj4 contains the wrong definition for EPSG:28992. It should be: <28992> +proj=sterea +lat_0=52.15616055555555 +lon_0=5.38763888888889 +k=0.999908 +x_0=155000 +y_0=463000 +ellps=bessel +units=m +towgs84=565.2369,50.0087,465.658,-0.406857330322398,0.350732676542563,-1.8703473836068,4.0812 +no_defs <> The current definition is missing the towgs84 parameter. It appears this was corrected in version 4.5 and broken again in 4.6. There have been a number of reports about it around the place: http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/ticket/1987 http://52north.org/pipermail/ilwis/2007-October/000054.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg02595.html Hopefully it can be corrected at least in debian, and perhaps someone knows the right place to report this.
