After the installation of Ubuntu Hardy according to
the multidistribution wiki page fsck has to be run to
because "superblock has features different from backup".

This is very irritating because actually one needs to
reboot twice to correct all partitions.

I propose the attached hook that corrects the problem
if the host is added to the class UBUNTU.

Note that this hook assumes that LAST/40-fix-devnames from

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fai-kernels/+bug/114603

was run to fix hda -> sda in the hardy fstab.
