This is very irritating because actually one needs to reboot twice to correct all partitions. I propose the attached hook that corrects the problem if the host is added to the class UBUNTU. Note that this hook assumes that LAST/40-fix-devnames from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fai-kernels/+bug/114603 was run to fix hda -> sda in the hardy fstab.
