Hi! I wonder, what's the status about Debian bug #354559 for you? I don't see any reply from you in it and wonder if it might have skipped your attention. The approach seems sensible, and upstream explicitly also stated that it would be a proper to configure --with-proc-interrupts, so I really wonder why it isn't done. This is a real long standing annoyance already and should definitely get addressed before lenny freeze. It would be a good idea to get any feedback on the issue, thanks.
