Hello, if I try to start hostapd with my prism54 I get the following error: # /usr/sbin/hostapd /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf Configuration file: /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf Opening raw packet socket for ifindex 8 ioctl(SIOCGIFINDEX): No such device prism54 driver initialization failed. rmdir[ctrl_interface]: No such file or directory I found a patch for the problem here http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-341230.html#3239611 I can not estimate if this will effect other drivers. I compiled the sources with the patch and the hostapd starts fine.
