Just in case it changes anything, or help understand why it doesn't, can
you try running iceweasel -g (it will run iceweasel under gdb) and type
'run', then 'thread all apply bt full' when it crashes. Be careful at
what gdb says when it loads debugging symbols, that may tell you why
libcairo's symbols are not read.
